Are you wondering what may be departing Xbox Game Pass in March 2023? While Microsoft hasn’t made any official decisions yet, we can take a look back at games that were added to the service around this time last year. This can offer us a good idea of what’s likely to go, and what may stay for a little longer.
At this time, there’s no exact science to figuring out what’s leaving Xbox Game Pass each month. Publishers can extend current deals, aiming to keep certain games in the subscription service, while some games are added and removed according to Microsoft’s discretion.
We’ve gone back to March 2022, taking note of games which joined Xbox Game Pass around that time, as well as a few games from the March 2021 list. We’ve also included when each game joined the service and its compatible platforms, in order to give you a better idea of what might be exiting Xbox Game Pass in March 2023. Please note, however, that the following list is a prediction, and is subject to change.

Once again, it’s important to note that the above games may not actually leave Xbox Game Pass in March 2023. Publishers have the power to make last minute decisions to extend current deals, and some games may stay for even longer than the predicted time frame. Our past predictions have been around 50-75% accurate, however, so it’s still a good starting point when predicting what may leave Xbox Game Pass in the coming months!
Of course, there are still several games set to leave Xbox Game Pass next month, with a batch leaving on February 15th, and another batch on February 28th. Assuming these follow the typical trend of leaving after a year, March 2023 could see a fair few entries departing Xbox Game Pass.
