It’s time to stay up late, PlayStation fans, as Sony has just announced their first State of Play of the year: Thursday, February 23rd at 9 PM GMT. And it looks to be quite the show. Not only will this Playstation broadcast feature a deep dive into Rocksteady’s highly anticipated Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League game, gamers will be treated to a sneak-peek of five upcoming PlayStation VR2 games. This PlayStation State of Play won’t include news of many first-party PlayStation 5 games, but Sony promises that it will be filled with updates and details about the Suicide Squad game and plenty of information on the five new PlayStation VR2 games.

The State of Play broadcast is scheduled for 15 minutes and, beginning at 9 PM GMT, all details will be live streamed on both Twitch as well as PlayStation’s YouTube Channel. Even better, everybody watching at home gets to be part of the conversation with the official Twitch chat – use the hashtag #PS4Live for a chance to be featured in the broadcast.

There’s no need to wait for the show to get the scoop on the hottest gaming news of the moment, either. After the show ends, PlayStation will give fans the opportunity to dive even deeper into the 5 PSVR2 reveals with exclusive videos and more. So even if you happen to miss the show, follow up with PlayStation afterwards to make sure you don’t miss a beat.

To kick off the 2023 State of Play season, PlayStation has also set up a special State of Play event on its forums where gamers can ask questions to the game developers and pick up exclusive videogame gear.

As for the State of Play’s Newscast question, “”How do you feel about Switch in 2023, following the Nintendo Direct”, our answer is this: We are looking forward to seeing what Switch has to offer in the next year, and we hope the Nintendo Direct will be filled with surprises.

Overall, the 2023 State of Play is set to be another great gaming experience for fans and with PlayStation’s upcoming reveals, we can’t wait to see what the future holds. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments and don’t miss out on PlayStation’s State of Play on February 23rd! #PS4Live
