Get ready to be transported to the violent streets of Old Detroit as Nacon announces an exciting new release date for their upcoming shooter Robocop: Rogue City. After speculation regarding the game’s release window, it is confirmed to be launching in September 2023 on Xbox Series X|S.
The game is based on the classic science fiction film of the same name and follows the story of law enforcement robot, Robocop, as he attempts to bring justice to the crime-ridden streets. Although delayed out of June 2023, the game is now closer than ever before and is one to definitely keep an eye on.
Developed by the same team behind the 2019 game, Terminator: Resistance, Robocop: Rogue City looks to be an action-packed gritty adventure, featuring the iconic half-man, half-robot hero. Players will be able to put their detective and problem-solving skills to test by using Robocop’s trusty Auto-9 and other tools as they slice through corruption and greed.
The game looks to be a true 3D representation of the classic 80s world, complete with all the violence, crime and drama you’d expect from old Detroit. Don the iconic title of Robocop and take a journey that aims to redefine justice with your own decision-making around Prime Directives and a vast toolset at your disposal.
