Music aficionados and tech enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating Beats Studio Buds+ since images of the unreleased product appeared in an iOS 16.4 beta update back in May.
These new in-ear headphones mark the second-generation follow-up to the first-generation Beats Studio Buds, released earlier this year.
Now, Amazon has finally made an official listing of the Beats Studio Buds+, revealing their features, colorways and more information.
On the exterior, Beats Studio Buds+ have a stemless design and plastic charging case which looks very similar to that of the first-generation model. They are designed to be a sports-friendly alternative to AirPods, and are compatible with Android phones.
But the real appeal of Beats Studio Buds+ lies in the feature set. Battery life sees an impressive improvement from 32 hours with the first-generation model to a whopping 36 hours with the Buds+.
A custom acoustic platform delivers rich, immersive sound whether you’re listening to music or taking calls. They also boast 3x larger microphones and new venting to improve ear pressure, as well as an updated processor for 1.6x more Active Noise Cancelation power and 2x improved Transparency mode.
In terms of functionality, Beats have improved the device switching on iOS and Android, as well as adding Hey Siri, one-touch pairing and Find My support. The headphones also feature spatial audio for an awesomely immersive surround sound experience.
If that wasn’t enough, four different eartip options (XS, S, M, and L) are included in the box, providing a variety of sizes to fit a wider range of users. Plus, Beats Studio Buds+ come with three unique colors – Transparent, Black, and Ivory.
Strikingly, the Transparent colorway is particularly eye-catching and gives the user a peek at the technology inside the buds.
Shipping for the Beats Studio Buds+ begins May 18 and are available for purchase on Amazon for $169.95.
If you’re after deeper immersion and noise canceling from your headphones, then the Beats Studio Buds+ are worth checking out. With a great feature set and improved battery life, not to mention two fresh new colors, this seems like the perfect update to the Beats Studio Buds family.
